The rapid pace of AI development over the past year has made it possible to set a higher tempo for Maritech’s move to the cloud. For Timpex customers especially, the shift from on-premise operations to a modern, cloud-based solution is no longer something years away – it’s happening now.

AI-driven automation, better data migration tools, and improved implementation methods mean the process moves faster and with lower risk. For customers, that means fewer surprises along the way and a shorter path to what the cloud actually delivers: better scalability, higher operational reliability, and continuous ongoing development of the solution – without operations grinding to a halt during the transition.

The cloud journey isn’t something customers make alone. CAI is investing directly in product leadership, product development, technical development, and the professional services needed to make this transition easier, so customers have experienced people to lean on throughout the process – from planning through to running the new solution.

What’s next: AI agents in Maritech Cloud

The cloud also lays the groundwork for the next step. At this year’s Maritech Days, we showcased early capabilities with MCP (Model Context Protocol) for Maritech Cloud: a connection that lets customers’ favorite AI tools pull information from Maritech Cloud, and that will eventually allow AI agents to carry out tasks across multiple systems. The functionality is currently available in preview for customers with beta access, but it points to the direction ahead: the further along customers are in their cloud journey, the more they’ll get out of what’s coming next.
