We are looking for an experienced sales and leadership professional with strong software and solution selling experience.  This is a player coach role, where you will own a book of business and carry a quota, as well as lead a small team. This individual will work closely with prospective CAI customers to manage deals from start to finish.  You will sell and lead a team to sell ERP and Inventory Management software within the QuickBooks clients base, heavily focused in SMB. 

What You’ll Do:

The Account Director, High Velocity role will spend 50% of their time selling CAI Software’s ERP solution directly to existing CAI customers in the food industry who use QuickBooks. The other 50% of your time will be spent leading a team who sells our Inventory Management solutions across the QuickBooks customer base to new logos across all industries. This is a high-velocity, short sales cycle role where you will be responsible to sell one to two new logos each month and your team will be responsible for three new logos per person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full lifecycle sales experience is required – from prospecting through closing.
  • Short sales cycle experience is required – 30-45 days and within 1-3 meetings.
  • Experience with mid-level manager to C-level selling in the SMB market is required; buyers wear many hats and staying relevant/timely is critical to creating success
  • Ability to build a funnel that will drive $2M+ in annual sales
  • Ability to lead and coach team members to create success to individual and team sales goals
  • 25% of your time will go to pipeline generation and internal meetings, 25% will go to sales, 50% will go to managing your team.
  • QuickBooks integrations sales experience strongly preferred
  • Drive value-oriented discussions that focus on business outcomes and drive value and benefit for our customers. 
  • Work closely with your go-to-market cross-functional team including Marketing, BDRs, and Sales Engineering.
  • Keep up-to-date records in CAI’s CRM platform,  across contact records, account data, lead information, opportunities/deals, and customer interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High velocity, QuickBooks integration sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience with prospecting and working with the SMB sector to drive solution-based decisions.
  • Experience working with industry standard marketing and sales systems.
  • Interest in working in a customer-focused, fast paced technology environment.
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn, to react to, and share lessons learned across the organization.
  • Good time management with strong organizational skills.
  • Someone who is curious and likes to learn, acquire, and apply new knowledge quickly and effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (less than 20% of the time).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Job Location: This job is fully remote. Candidate must be US-based, ideally in Eastern or Central time zones.
