"Computer Associates Joins the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE)"

April 26, 2012 -- Computer Associates (CAI) announced today that it has joined the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE). Founded in 1938, SBANE (www.sbane.org) is a private, not-for-profit association of approximately 700 member companies located throughout the six-state region. The organization was established to provide a legislative voice for small business at the state and federal levels and to make practical information available to help business owners grow their companies.

Jim McCooey, president of CAI, “As a long-time Rhode Island-based business, we’re pleased to join this prestigious organization and excited to play an active role in assisting the Rhode Island chapter in its mission of helping its members grow their businesses through profitable connections, innovation, leadership, advocacy and education.”

"Our participation in the Smaller Business Association of New England will enable us to interact with and get to know other local businesses, both to avail ourselves to the many entrepreneurial ideas and valuable products and services offered by these member companies while helping to educate them about best practices in information technology (IT) security and business computer network availability.”
